Top left, large nautilus (Cenoceras jourdani) from the junction bed. The cut section reveals the siphuncle. To the right of it is a calcite filled Parkinsonia from the middle Jurassic inferior oolite. Bottom left is a carboniferous coral and beside it a Dactylioceras commune from the Yorkshire coast.
